** Appointments are required unless you plan to take a course exam during scheduled Course Testing Drop-in Hours. Duplicate appointments for the same exam will be cancelled. To ensure your preferred date and time of testing, we recommend scheduling in advance. If you encounter any issue in scheduling online, please call our Front Desk at (309) 268-8077. We are happy to assist you!

On Campus Appointments
On campus appointments are required for placement testing, course testing, community exams, and proctored tests (fee applies) for other institutions.
Course Testing Drop-Ins
Students may drop-in to complete a course exam Monday through Thursday between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Appointments are not required between those times. If you wish to test outside of those times, an appointment must be scheduled. *Note that drop-in hours are only available at the main campus in Normal, IL.
Heartland Lincoln and Pontiac Campus Locations

Severe Weather Closures
If the College closes due to severe weather, an announcement will be available on the Heartland Community College homepage. We also encourage you to sign up for HCC-Alerts which will notify you of campus closures.

Heartland Community College utilizes an emergency text alert system for sending important notifications for two types of information. Opt in today!
This voluntary text messaging service can deliver two types of information:
- Emergency Alerts (HCC-ALERTS) – Notification of a serious concern affecting campus, including any campus closures due to severe weather
- Temporary Interferences (HCC-ACCESS) – Notification of an interference to campus access such as elevator repairs, blocked stairs, sidewalks and closed entries and parking areas
